Owl Booking Villa Siquier - Luxury Retreat With Mountain Views - Pollenca

Wonderful holiday. Loved the villa and the area, but the service was a bit disappointing.

Pretty villa. Great secluded location in the countryside but a short drive from Pollenca Old Town and Pollenca Port with the amazing beach. Covered carport for two cars to stay in the shade. Five big bedrooms with air-con, clean linen and towels and lots of storage. Two big fridge-freezers in the kitchen. Lots of washing line behind the house to dry the clothes out of sight. Great big garden and covered terrace, places to eat in the shade or the sun, wonderful pool and lots of seating around the pool. Lots of flowers. We spent very little time indoors (where there is a large living and dining room). Perfect for small children.

Wifi not great (although they did try to boost the signal which was good) so you can't rely on it for work. Despite arranging for someone to come and help us find the basic channels on the TV, they didn't come. Hairdryers are the hopeless old-school-hotel kind. Road leading to the villa quite narrow and full of pot-holes. Roughly once a day, someone would stop outside the gate and look in or even open the gate (the neighbour? cleaner?) but not come up to the house. Once she simply took a photo of her car parked on the drive and then left again. Strange. On the final day, the gardener came early to set the pool cleaner going and the garden sprinklers too so we (and crucially the children) had to stick to the house. The cleaner also came an hour before check-out and started working around us as we were trying to clean up and say our goodbyes to each other. We tried to politely explain we still had time but in the end had to ask quite bluntly for her to wait until we were gone. Made the last few hours a bit stressful.
